Non-Toxic Candles

Our candles are made with organic beeswax, organic coconut oil, & phthalate-free, non-toxic scents that are also free of carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, and acute toxins.

We chose beeswax because it is a completely natural wax that is a byproduct of the honeybee. It is also an ancient wax that has been used for centuries. There are claims out there that when burned, beeswax can promote air quality. It produces negative ions when burned, which bind with air pollutants (positive ions), and when this happens, air pollutants are removed from the air and drop to the floor, leaving the air cleaner. While we have not found definitive research that backs these statements, we love beeswax because it is still the most natural option and we love that it is pure compared to other candles waxes that are tainted or are byproducts of hazardous chemicals or blended with unknown ingredients.

Since beeswax is a hard wax and has a higher melting point, the coconut oil helps to soften it and improve the candles burn.
